Tedi Parsons is the current Director or Diversity & Inclusion with the Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP). Tedi is responsible for creating strong diversity programs for the organization, board members and Lansing region. In 2012, Tedi, along with several regional partners, created Diversity Lansing, and, to date, over 1,250 individuals have took part in professional diversity education and training. He has held positions as Vice-President of Operations & Human Resources, Sr. Executive Assistant, Facilities/Operations Manager, and Executive Administrator. He received his certification in Purchasing & Procurement after attending the University of Wisconsin – Madison, School of Business. Additionally, he holds designations as a Certified Career Coach (CCC), Certified Executive Coach (CEC) and Certified Professional Coach (CPC), including receiving certifications in facilities management, ergonomics, and human resources. Currently, Tedi is currently enrolled in the prestigious Diversity Executive Leadership Academy (DTUI), working towards receiving his Certified Diversity Executive (CDE) certification.
Additionally, Tedi owns and operates his own business, The Professionals Forum (TPF), which has over the past 10-years, assisted professionals on every level to become tomorrow’s world-leaders. Along with his many hours of volunteer service, mentoring and strong commitment to social justice and equity, Tedi finds time to serve as a Certified Tourist Ambassador (CTA) in the Lansing region.
